MEMS resonator replaces quartz in this 37.125 MHz XO
The DSC1033CI2-037.1250T is a MEMS-based oscillator (XO) from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, outputting a fixed 37.125 MHz CMOS clock from a 3.3V rail. Unlike quartz crystal oscillators, the MEMS resonator is immune to vibration-induced frequency shifts and has no crystal aging drift—a practical advantage for industrial environments where mechanical shock is present.
