8 MHz MEMS XO with industrial temperature range
The DSC1033CI1-008.0000 is a MEMS-based XO from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, delivering a fixed 8 MHz CMOS output at 3.3V with ±50ppm frequency stability.
Existing designs already using this order code should verify BOM fit against the 4-SMD no-lead footprint (3.20mm x 2.50mm, 0.90mm seated height) before committing to a last-time buy or cross-reference. No franchised stock is held; sourcing is per RFQ only.
Standby power and frequency tolerance for BOM fit
Typical supply current is 3mA during active operation; the standby mode (power-down) reduces this to 1µA max — a 3000× reduction that matters for designs where the oscillator is gated by an enable signal from the MCU or power-management IC. For a UART or SPI bus clock at 8 MHz, this translates to roughly ±400 Hz worst-case — well within the tolerance of most MCU PLLs and serial interfaces.
