MEMS XO for low-power clocking
It outputs CMOS levels at 3.3 V with ±25 ppm frequency stability — tight enough for MCU clocks, USB interfaces, and general-purpose timing without external trim components.
Standby mode and current budget
Active supply current is 3 mA typical, but the key power-saving feature is the standby (power-down) function that drops disable current to 1 µA maximum. For a battery-powered sensor that sleeps 99% of the time, this oscillator's own draw becomes negligible — the 1 µA leakage is lower than the coin cell's self-discharge.
Commercial temperature range and package
The 4-SMD no-lead package measures 3.20 x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that matches common 3.2 x 2.5 mm oscillator pads.
Microchip lists the DSC1033CE2-026.0000T as Active product status.
