MEMS oscillator at 49.152 MHz – audio/video clock source
The DSC1033CC1-049.1520T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, delivering a fixed 49.152 MHz CMOS output from a 3.3V rail. Unlike quartz-based oscillators, the MEMS resonator (Base Resonator: MEMS) offers better resistance to shock and vibration, and a faster startup time — useful in portable or handheld equipment where the oscillator may cycle on and off frequently. The Standby (Power Down) function drops supply current to 1 µA, preserving battery life in duty-cycled applications.
Microchip has marked the DSC1033CC1-049.1520T as Obsolete.
Package, temperature, and board-fit notes
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a seated height of 0.90mm. Frequency stability is ±50 ppm over the full temperature range, and typical supply current is 4 mA. The CMOS output interfaces directly with most MCU/FPGA clock inputs without external level translation.
