MEMS oscillator – 26 MHz, CMOS, standby function
The DSC1033BE1-026.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, delivering a 26 MHz CMOS output from a 3.3 V supply rail. The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz crystal start-up time and vibration sensitivity typical of bulk-acoustic-wave oscillators, making it suitable for applications where rapid enable and disable cycling is needed. The standby (power-down) function drops the supply current to 1 µA maximum when the enable pin is pulled low, preserving battery life in intermittently operated equipment such as handheld instruments or wireless sensor nodes.
Microchip has designated the DSC1033BE1-026.0000T as obsolete. Available quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ through independent surplus distribution. The 4-SMD no-lead package (5.00 mm × 3.20 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height) is a standard MEMS oscillator outline; a board spin would be required to migrate to a different oscillator family.
Temperature grade and deployment boundary
Rated for -20°C to 70°C operating temperature, this oscillator is suited for commercial indoor environments — office equipment, consumer electronics, and telecom line cards in climate-controlled spaces. It is not qualified for industrial or automotive temperature ranges; a wider-temperature MEMS oscillator would be required for outdoor or under-hood deployment.
