Product details

MEMS oscillator at 4.096 MHz with standby

The DSC1033BE1-004.0960T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, delivering a fixed 4.096 MHz CMOS output from a 3.3V supply rail. That stability is sufficient for UART baud-rate generation, microcontroller clocking, and general-purpose timing where a quartz-grade ppm budget is not required.

In active mode the oscillator draws 10 mA max. For battery-operated equipment that can gate the clock when the system sleeps, the 1 µA standby current extends standby time without an external load switch.

Housed in a 4-SMD No Lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm.

Listed as Active by Microchip.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Standby function do?

The Standby (Power Down) pin disables the output and reduces supply current to 1 µA maximum, allowing the system to conserve power when the clock is not needed.
