MEMS clock source for 1.8V CMOS logic
The DSC1018DC1-022.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that generates a 22 MHz CMOS clock from a 1.8V supply rail — no external quartz resonator or load caps needed on the board. The 4-SMD no-lead package (2.50 mm × 2.00 mm) takes up about the same footprint as a small ceramic cap. Typical supply current is 3 mA at 22 MHz — low enough that the oscillator won't dominate the power budget on a battery-powered board.
Standby power-down for sleep-mode designs
This is the feature that lets a microcontroller or wireless SoC cut the clock to save battery during deep sleep, then wake and restart the oscillator in milliseconds.
