6.78 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 grade
Rated AEC-Q100, this part is qualified for automotive applications where the oscillator must survive under-hood thermal cycling and vibration profiles. The MEMS resonator provides better shock and vibration tolerance compared to quartz-based oscillators, reducing the risk of frequency drift in high-G environments.
Supply voltage and power-down capability
Operates from a single 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail, covering the common digital core and I/O voltages without an external level translator. Maximum supply current is 6.5 mA during active operation; the standby (power-down) function reduces current draw to 15 µA, suitable for battery-backed or sleep-mode applications.
Housed in a 4-SMD no-lead package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, it fits space-constrained PCB layouts and is compatible with standard reflow soldering profiles. Surface-mount package with no leads — the solder pads are on the bottom of the package, requiring a stencil design that matches the land pattern in the datasheet.
