Power-down function for battery-savvy designs

With a standby (power-down) function, the oscillator draws only 15 µA max when disabled, compared to 8 mA max during active operation. This makes it a good fit for battery-powered or intermittently operated equipment where the clock can be gated off during sleep modes.

Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a seated height of 0.90mm, this oscillator uses a standard footprint that reflows without lead coplanarity issues. The MEMS resonator inside is inherently more shock-tolerant than quartz, so it survives the oven and board handling with fewer failures.
