MEMS oscillator for automotive clocking
The DSC1004AI1-090.0000 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1004 series, delivering a 90 MHz CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across -40°C to 85°C. AEC-Q100 qualification makes this part suitable for automotive ECU, ADAS sensor, and infotainment clock trees where quartz oscillators may fail under shock or vibration.
Operating from 1.7V to 3.6V, this oscillator spans 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without an external LDO — a single BOM line covers multiple voltage domains. Maximum supply current is 10.5 mA at 90 MHz; the disable current of 15 µA allows the system to cut clock power during idle states without a separate load switch.
