Product details

The DSC1001DL2-074.2500: A 74.25 MHz MEMS-based XO with CMOS output — the exact frequency used in 1080p video pixel clocks and many automotive serial links. ±25 ppm total stability holds the timing budget for a 100BASE-T1 or CAN-FD controller without external compensation. Runs from any rail between 1.8V and 3.3V, so the same BOM line serves a 1.8V FPGA bank and a 3.3V microcontroller port.

The MEMS resonator is less sensitive to vibration-induced phase noise than a quartz crystal at the same frequency.

The DSC1001 series is Microchip's current-generation MEMS oscillator family; there is no announced successor.

Frequently asked questions

Does DSC1001DL2-074.2500 support a 1.8V supply?

Yes — the supply range is 1.8V to 3.3V, so it runs directly from a 1.8V rail without a separate level translator.

Is DSC1001DL2-074.2500 suitable for automotive designs?

Yes — it carries AEC-Q100 qualification and operates from -40°C to 105°C, covering under-hood and cabin applications.
