54 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 temperature range
The DSC1001DL1-054.0000T is a 54 MHz MEMS-based oscillator from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across -40°C to 105°C — the full AEC-Q100 Grade 1 temperature band. This makes it a direct fit for under-hood automotive ECUs, engine bay sensors, and industrial motor drives where quartz oscillators may drift or fail under vibration. The MEMS resonator construction provides inherent shock and vibration tolerance compared to quartz, which is relevant for applications subject to mechanical stress — transmission control modules, brake systems, and factory-floor automation.
Supply voltage flexibility and standby power gating
Operating from 1.8V to 3.3V, this oscillator spans the common digital supply rails without needing a separate regulator — a single part can serve 1.8V MCU cores, 2.5V FPGA banks, or 3.3V peripheral buses. The standby (power down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max, enabling battery-backed RTC or sleep-mode systems to gate the oscillator when the main clock is not needed. Active draw is 7.2 mA max at 54 MHz.
Active production, sourced per RFQ
It is available for new designs and production builds. Sourced through independent distribution; quantities and lead time confirmed at RFQ against your BOM line. The 4-SMD, no-lead package measures 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a compact footprint that fits tight PCB layouts.
