MEMS oscillator for automotive and industrial clocks
The DSC1001DL1-012.5000T: AEC-Q100 qualification means this oscillator is rated for automotive-grade stress — under-hood or cabin electronics where vibration and thermal cycling are routine. The MEMS resonator is inherently more shock-tolerant than a quartz crystal, a real advantage on a vehicle's PCB. Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V, so the same part number serves a 1.8V MCU core clock and a 3.3V peripheral bus without a second line item.
Standby function and low-power draw
A dedicated Standby (Power Down) pin drops the supply current to 15 µA max — useful for battery-backed RTC or sleep-mode systems where the oscillator must be gated off between wake cycles. Active draw is 6.3 mA max, typical for a 12.5 MHz CMOS output driving a moderate load. The standby current floor is low enough that a coin cell can keep the oscillator in power-down for months.
Product status is Active — no end-of-life notice, no NRND flag. This part is suitable for new designs and production ramps without a last-time-buy window. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
