AEC-Q100 grade — not just automotive-capable
For under-hood locations requiring Grade 0 (150°C), this part is not the fit — confirm your location's thermal profile before committing the BOM line.
48 MHz fixed frequency with ±10 ppm stability
Output is 48 MHz CMOS, the standard clock for 100BASE-TX Ethernet PHYs, USB 2.0 full-speed, and many ARM Cortex-M MCUs running at 48 MHz core clock. Supply voltage accepts 1.8V to 3.3V, covering 1.8V logic, 2.5V I/O, and 3.3V system rails without a separate LDO for the oscillator.
MEMS resonator vs quartz — the reliability trade
That 15 µA standby current is low enough to leave on a always-on battery line in a key-off automotive module without draining the reserve.
Product status is Active per Microchip's lifecycle designation. Package is 4-SMD, No Lead, 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height. This is a common MEMS oscillator footprint — no unusual layout constraints.
