Automotive-grade MEMS oscillator for harsh environments
The DSC1001DI5-002.4576 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip, delivering a 2.4576 MHz CMOS output with ±10 ppm frequency stability across its full -40°C to 85°C range.
Supply voltage flexibility and low-power standby
Operating from 1.8V to 3.3V, this oscillator mates directly with 1.8V MCU cores or 3.3V peripheral logic without a level translator—the same BOM line serves both rails. Standby (Power Down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max, preserving battery life in intermittently powered automotive modules. Active current draw is 6.3 mA max at the rated frequency, well within the budget of a typical automotive power tree.
The MEMS base resonator provides inherent shock and vibration tolerance compared to quartz crystal oscillators, a reliability advantage in automotive and industrial applications.
