12 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001DI3-012.0000T is a 12 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a CMOS output from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail. Its AEC-Q100 rating means this part is qualified for automotive-grade reliability, making it suitable for under-hood and chassis-domain applications where temperature cycling and vibration are routine. The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz crystal's startup and aging concerns — the frequency is set at the silicon level, so there is no load-capacitance matching to get wrong.
Industrial temperature range and low power draw
Maximum supply current is 6.3 mA, and the standby (power-down) function drops draw to 15 µA, which lets the system clock gate the oscillator between active periods without a separate enable FET.
