49.0909 MHz MEMS oscillator for automotive timing
AEC-Q100 qualification means this part is tested for automotive-grade reliability — suitable for engine control, infotainment, and ADAS timing references where quartz-based oscillators might drift under vibration or thermal cycling. Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V, allowing the same BOM line to serve 1.8V and 3.3V logic domains without a separate regulator for the oscillator rail.
Why the Standby (Power Down) function matters
The Standby (Power Down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max when disabled — a useful power-save mode for modules that sleep between CAN bus wake-ups or ignition-off periods. Active current is 7.2 mA max at 49.0909 MHz, so the oscillator itself is not the dominant power draw in most automotive ECUs.
