14.3182 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 grade
The DSC1001DI2-014.3182T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a 14.3182 MHz CMOS output with ±25 ppm frequency stability. The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, giving it better shock and vibration tolerance — useful in automotive and industrial environments where a crystal might fracture under mechanical stress. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed the automotive-grade reliability stress tests: temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up, and extended life.
Supply voltage and power budget
The supply voltage range spans 1.8V to 3.3V, so the same BOM line can serve 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V logic domains without a separate voltage variant. Maximum supply current is 6.3 mA — a modest load that keeps the thermal rise low in the 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm 4-SMD package. When the Standby (Power Down) function is asserted, the disable current drops to 15 µA max — useful for battery-backed systems where the oscillator must idle without draining the rail.
