Why a MEMS XO instead of quartz for this 6.14 MHz rail
For a BOM that needs a PPAP-ready clock source, this eliminates the qualification paperwork a commercial-grade oscillator would require.
Supply range and standby power — sizing the rail
The oscillator accepts any supply between 1.8 V and 3.3 V, so it can run directly from a 3.3 V CAN transceiver rail or a 1.8 V MCU I/O bank without an external LDO. Maximum operating current is 6.3 mA; when the Standby (Power Down) function is asserted, the disable current drops to 15 µA — low enough that a 12 V battery with a 3.3 V LDO can keep the node asleep for months between wake events.
Temperature grade and package — board-fit checklist
The 4-SMD, No Lead package measures 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that fits tight ECU layouts.
Suitable for both new design-ins and production replenishment.
