MEMS oscillator at 1.8432 MHz — CMOS output, AEC-Q100
The DSC1001DI1-001.8432 is a MEMS-based standard XO from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a fixed 1.8432 MHz CMOS output. Its base resonator is MEMS rather than quartz — this means faster startup, better shock resistance, and no crystal aging drift over the product lifetime. AEC-Q100 qualification confirms the part meets automotive-grade reliability stress and PPAP requirements — it can be placed in under-hood or cabin electronics where vibration and temperature extremes are the norm.
Supply range and power-down standby
Operates from a single 1.8V to 3.3V supply, covering the common logic rails without an extra regulator. The maximum supply current is 6.3 mA — low enough for battery-backed real-time clocks and always-on peripherals. A standby (power-down) function drops the disable current to 15 µA max. This lets the system gate the oscillator during sleep modes, preserving battery life in portable or automotive body controllers that spend most of their time in low-power state.
4-SMD no-lead package — board-fit note
Housed in a 4-SMD, no-lead package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The small footprint and low profile suit space-constrained PCBs in automotive ECUs, IoT modules, and portable instruments. Surface-mount mounting — standard reflow profile; no special handling beyond normal MSL precautions for a plastic-encapsulated MEMS device.
Active lifecycle — no end-of-life risk
