MEMS oscillator with automotive-grade reliability
The DSC1001DE1-030.0000T is a 30 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a CMOS output with ±50ppm frequency stability across its full operating range. The MEMS base resonator inherently withstands shock and vibration better than quartz, which is why this part gets the AEC-Q100 rating while many canned oscillators do not.
Operating from a single 1.8V to 3.3V rail, this oscillator can run directly from a 1.8V MCU or a 3.3V system rail without an intermediate regulator — a clean clock-tree simplification for mixed-voltage designs. In an automotive ECU that sleeps between ignition cycles, this standby draw is negligible against the module's total dark current budget.
