The DSC1001CL5-026.0000T: AEC-Q100 qualified, this oscillator is suited for automotive ECU clock trees where the under-hood ambient can reach 105°C — the MEMS resonator provides better shock and vibration tolerance than a quartz crystal in that environment. The supply voltage range of 1.8V to 3.3V lets it run from a single 1.8V or 3.3V rail without a level translator, simplifying the power distribution on the board.
Standby function and low-power operation
A standby (power-down) function is integrated: when the enable pin is pulled low, the oscillator draws a maximum of 15 µA, cutting active current from the 6.3 mA max supply current. For a battery-backed RTC or a CAN transceiver that sleeps between bus messages, the 15 µA disable current keeps the quiescent load negligible — the oscillator's own draw is below the leakage floor of most automotive modules in sleep mode.
The 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm no-lead package reflows on a standard surface-mount profile.
