AEC-Q100 grade and temperature band
The DSC1001CL2-009.5290: Rated AEC-Q100 and specified across -40°C to 105°C — this is the under-hood ambient range. An engine ECU or transmission controller seeing 105°C on a hot day still has margin; the MEMS die is qualified to the same reliability stress tests as the rest of the automotive bill.
9.529 MHz with ±25 ppm stability
9.529 MHz is a non-standard frequency, typically ordered for a specific MCU clock or CAN transceiver reference.
CMOS output and standby function
CMOS output levels track the 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail — no level translation needed when driving a 3.3V MCU or a 1.8V FPGA bank.
Active production lifecycle
The DSC1001 family is Microchip's standard automotive MEMS oscillator line; no pin-compatible second source is documented, but the wide supply range (1.8V-3.3V) covers the most common MCU voltage domains without a redesign.
