22.579 MHz MEMS oscillator with industrial temperature range
The DSC1001CL1-022.5790 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a fixed 22.579 MHz CMOS clock output with ±50 ppm frequency stability. It operates from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail, drawing 6.3 mA max in active mode and just 15 µA in standby (power-down) — the standby pin lets the system gate the clock for power savings without an external load switch. The AEC-Q100 qualification confirms it meets the stress and reliability tests required for under-hood and chassis-domain deployments.
Microchip lists the DSC1001CL1-022.5790 as Active. The 4-SMD, no-lead package (3.20 mm x 2.50 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height) is a common MEMS oscillator footprint — compatible with standard reflow profiles and pick-and-place equipment.
Wide supply range and standby power-down
The 1.8V–3.3V supply range means the oscillator can run from a 1.8V core rail, a 2.5V I/O rail, or a 3.3V system rail without a dedicated regulator — useful in multi-voltage designs where the clock domain spans several power islands.
