MEMS clock source with AEC-Q100 grade
The DSC1001CI5-032.0000T is a 32 MHz MEMS-based XO with CMOS output, built on Microchip's DSC1001 series. Startup time is also shorter, so the system clock is stable before the MCU releases reset.
Voltage-range flexibility and standby power
Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V — a single BOM line covers designs that mix 1.8 V core logic and 3.3 V I/O rails, reducing inventory line items. The ±10 ppm frequency stability holds the timing budget for CAN FD, 100BASE-T1 Ethernet, and other serial links that require better than ±50 ppm over temperature.
Housed in a 4-SMD, no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard 3.2 x 2.5 mm footprint that matches many quartz oscillators, easing a direct PCB swap. Surface-mount assembly with no through-hole or lead frame; the small footprint leaves room for decoupling caps close to the supply pin. Cut Tape works for prototypes and small-batch builds.
