98.304 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001CI2-098.3040T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 98.304 MHz CMOS output. Its AEC-Q100 rating qualifies it for automotive environments, including under-hood and cabin domains where temperature swings and vibration are routine.
Supply flexibility and standby power-down
Operating from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply, this oscillator can be dropped into 1.8V or 3.3V clock trees without a level translator. The standby (power-down) function pulls the disable current to 15 µA max, useful for battery-backed or sleep-mode circuits. Active current draw is 8.7 mA max at 98.304 MHz, a reasonable figure for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency.
Active production – no end-of-life pressure
The part is supplied on tape and reel (TR) in a 4-SMD, no-lead package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm. Store the reels dry – the MEMS resonator itself is not moisture-sensitive, but the SMD package may have an MSL rating; check the reel label.
