52 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001CI2-052.0000T is a 52 MHz XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, built on a MEMS resonator rather than a quartz crystal. It outputs CMOS levels and operates across a 1.8V to 3.3V supply range, making it a drop-in clock source for mixed-voltage digital cores. AEC-Q100 qualification means this oscillator has passed automotive-grade stress tests including temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up — suitable for under-hood or cabin electronics where a standard commercial oscillator would risk field failures.
Industrial temperature range and standby power-down
The MEMS construction holds ±25 ppm frequency stability across the range, tighter than many quartz oscillators at the same price point. A standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max when the enable pin is pulled low. For battery-backed or ignition-switched automotive modules, this eliminates the need for a separate load switch on the oscillator rail.
Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging, 4-SMD no-lead footprint measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a seated height of 0.90mm. The small footprint and low profile suit space-constrained automotive ECU and sensor module layouts.
