28.322 MHz MEMS XO for automotive timing
The DSC1001CI2-028.3220B is a MEMS-based XO (standard) delivering a 28.322 MHz CMOS output from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed the automotive-grade stress tests: temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up, and extended high-temperature operating life. It is suited for under-hood and cabin ECUs where a quartz oscillator would need a separate qualification run.
Listed as Active by Microchip. The part is available for both new designs and ongoing production runs — no need to stockpile or qualify a second source.
Standby function and disable current
The standby (power-down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max when the enable pin is pulled low. Normal operation draws 7.2 mA max. For battery-backed or ignition-switched modules, the standby current is low enough to avoid draining the keep-alive supply.
4-SMD no-lead package, 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm body, seated height 0.90 mm max. Surface-mount, tape-and-reel delivery. The small footprint and low profile fit dense ECU layouts where board space is tight.
