CMOS output and supply flexibility
The CMOS output directly drives standard logic families without a level translator. The supply voltage covers 1.8V to 3.3V, so the same part can serve a 1.8V MCU core clock and a 3.3V peripheral bus — one BOM line for both rails. For a 27 MHz clock, this keeps the timing error under 675 Hz worst-case — tight enough for a CAN or USB full-speed interface without external trim.
In a battery-backed ECU that sleeps between ignition cycles, this standby draw is below the module's own leakage floor.
The 4-SMD, no-lead package measures 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. This footprint is common across the DSC1001 family, so a single PCB layout can accommodate multiple frequency variants.
