The DSC1001CI1-028.6363T is a MEMS-based XO (standard oscillator) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a fixed 28.6363 MHz CMOS output. AEC-Q100 qualification confirms it passes automotive-grade reliability stress: temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up. Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V, so the same part can serve a 1.8V MCU core clock and a 3.3V peripheral bus without a level translator — a BOM simplification for multi-rail designs.
Active draw is 8 mA max at 28.6363 MHz. For a battery-backed RTC or sleep-mode controller, the standby current is low enough to avoid draining a coin cell over months.
Housed in a 4-VDFN package measuring 3.20 mm × 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max. The 4-pin footprint has a centre ground pad — the PCB layout should include a thermal via under the pad to improve solder-joint reliability during reflow and to keep the MEMS die temperature stable.
Product status is Active.
