11.2896 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 grade
The DSC1001CI1-011.2896T is a MEMS-based XO (standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a fixed 11.2896 MHz CMOS output. The MEMS resonator gives it better shock and vibration tolerance than a quartz crystal — relevant for automotive and industrial environments where board-level mechanical stress is a concern. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed automotive-grade reliability stress: temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up, and extended life tests.
Standby mode and supply current
The standby (power-down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max when the enable pin is pulled low — useful for battery-backed modules or ECU sleep states where the clock must stop to save power. Active current is 6.3 mA max at full 11.2896 MHz operation. Supply voltage range is 1.8V to 3.3V, covering common digital rails without an external regulator. The CMOS output swings rail-to-rail, so it drives standard logic inputs directly.
Housed in a 4-SMD, no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The small footprint and low profile suit space-constrained PCBs in automotive ECUs or portable equipment.
The DSC1001 series is an ongoing Microchip product line, so new designs can commit to this order code without a last-time-buy window. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
