Automotive-grade MEMS timing for under-hood and cabin domains
Its AEC-Q100 qualification places it in the automotive reliability bracket — suitable for engine-control units, ADAS cameras, and infotainment modules that see under-hood thermal cycling. The 1.8V to 3.3V supply range lets a single oscillator serve both 1.8V-core and 3.3V-I/O domains without a level translator on the clock line, simplifying board-level routing and reducing BOM count.
For a telematics unit that spends most of its life in a parking sleep, that 15 µA keeps the battery drain negligible while the oscillator is ready to wake on a CAN message.
No last-time-buy or end-of-life notification is in effect, so it remains available for both new design-ins and ongoing production. The 4-SMD, no-lead package (3.20 mm x 2.50 mm, 0.90 mm seated height) is a standard footprint shared across the DSC1001 family, making last-minute package swaps straightforward if a different frequency is needed.
