MEMS oscillator for 16 MHz clocking with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001CE5-016.0000T is a 16 MHz XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, built on a MEMS resonator instead of a quartz crystal. The CMOS output swings rail-to-rail between 1.8 V and 3.3 V, matching the logic levels of most MCUs and SoCs without a level translator. Frequency stability is ±10 ppm over the operating range — tight enough for CAN, USB, or 100BASE-TX clocking without external trim capacitors.
Power budget and standby for sleep-state designs
Active supply current is 6.3 mA max at 16 MHz — low enough for battery-powered nodes.
The 4-SMD, No Lead package measures 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max.
