The DSC1001CE2-026.0000T is a 26 MHz MEMS-based oscillator (XO Standard) that outputs a CMOS-level clock. Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V, so it can run from a 1.8V core rail or a 3.3V I/O rail without a separate regulator. The wide range also means the same BOM line can serve multiple voltage domains across a product family.
That is useful for battery-backed modules or automotive ECUs that need to cut clock power during sleep states. The low standby current means the clock tree can be gated without a separate load switch.
Housed in a 4-SMD no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard 3.2 x 2.5 mm footprint that matches many quartz oscillator footprints. The no-lead construction reduces parasitic inductance compared to a gull-wing leaded package. For automotive applications requiring -40°C to +125°C, a different grade of the DSC1001 family would be needed. That is tighter than a typical ±50 ppm quartz oscillator and means the clock accuracy is sufficient for USB, CAN, or Ethernet PHY reference clocks without external trimming.
The 4-SMD no-lead package is compatible with reflow soldering profiles typical for lead-free assemblies.
