26 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001CE2-026.0000 is a 26 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) with CMOS output, part of Microchip's DSC1001 series. Its AEC-Q100 rating qualifies it for automotive temperature and reliability requirements, making it suitable for under-hood or chassis-domain clocking where a standard quartz oscillator would not be accepted. The supply voltage range spans 1.8V to 3.3V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator. This voltage flexibility simplifies BOM consolidation across multi-rail designs.
Active production — no end-of-life watch
New designs can commit to this order code without an imminent obsolescence risk.
MEMS resonator, ±25 ppm stability, standby function
The base resonator is MEMS, not quartz — this gives better shock and vibration tolerance compared to a crystal oscillator, and the frequency stability is held to ±25 ppm. The standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max when the enable pin is deasserted, useful for battery-powered modules that sleep between transmissions. Maximum active supply current is 6.3 mA at 26 MHz, which is typical for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency and keeps the thermal contribution in the 3.2 mm × 2.5 mm 4-SMD package low.
