What this 48 MHz MEMS oscillator does on your board
It operates from a 1.7V to 3.6V supply, so it can run directly off a 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V rail without a level translator. For a battery-powered sensor node that sleeps 99% of the time, that standby draw is negligible compared to the rest of the system.
Housed in a 4-VDFN package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that fits tight layout zones near the processor. The package is surface-mount, so it goes through the same reflow profile as the rest of the board.
