The DSC1001CE1-004.8000B is a 4.8 MHz MEMS-based oscillator (XO) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across -20°C to 70°C. It runs on any supply between 1.8V and 3.3V, making it a single BOM line for multi-rail designs.
Package, footprint, and storage
Housed in a 4-SMD, no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm – a standard 3.2 x 2.5 mm oscillator footprint that matches many quartz XO land patterns. Store the reels dry; the MEMS die is less moisture-sensitive than quartz, but the SMD package still benefits from a dry cabinet if the reel is opened before reflow.
