MEMS oscillator for automotive and industrial clocking
The DSC1001CE1-002.0800 is a MEMS-based standard oscillator (XO) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a fixed 2.08 MHz CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part is tested and rated for automotive-grade reliability — suitable for engine control modules, ADAS sensors, or infotainment clock trees that must survive thermal cycling and vibration. The standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max, letting the oscillator sleep between wake cycles in battery-backed or ignition-switched systems.
Supply range and package fit
Operates from 1.7V to 3.6V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without a separate level translator. Housed in a 4-VDFN package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a low-profile footprint that fits tight PCB stacks in automotive ECUs or portable instrumentation. Surface-mount mounting with standard reflow profiles; no special handling beyond normal MSL precautions for a VDFN package.
Listed as Active — in production and available for new designs and volume replenishment.
