Product details

MEMS oscillator drop-in for quartz sockets

It fits the same 5.0x3.2 mm 4-pad SMD footprint as a conventional quartz oscillator, so no board respin is needed when swapping from a crystal-based part. Supply voltage spans 1.8V to 3.3V, covering 1.8V MCU cores, 2.5V FPGA banks, and 3.3V logic in one BOM line.

Automotive-grade ±10 ppm timing

The ±10 ppm frequency stability keeps USB full-speed, CAN, and 100BASE-TX Ethernet within their bit-time budgets without needing a TCXO.

Product status is Active.

Frequently asked questions

Is DSC1001BI5-025.0000T a drop-in replacement for a quartz oscillator?

Yes. It uses a MEMS resonator instead of quartz, but the output is standard CMOS and the package is the common 5.0x3.2 mm 4-SMD footprint. No PCB change is required.

Does DSC1001BI5-025.0000T have an enable/disable function?

Yes. The function is Standby (Power Down). When disabled, the supply current drops to 15 µA maximum.
