106.25 MHz MEMS oscillator for automotive and industrial clock trees
Its wide 1.8V to 3.3V supply tolerance means a single oscillator can serve multiple voltage domains without an intermediate regulator — useful when the same clock feeds a 1.8V MCU and a 3.3V PHY. AEC-Q100 qualification confirms the part meets automotive-grade reliability stress, temperature cycling, and PPAP requirements — it is suited for under-hood and cabin electronics where a quartz crystal might drift or fail under vibration. The standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max, allowing the oscillator to be gated off during system sleep without a separate load switch.
Package and footprint — 5.0 x 3.2 mm 4-SMD
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 0.197" x 0.126" footprint is common across the DSC1001 series, so a single PCB land pattern serves multiple frequency variants. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; no special handling beyond normal MSL precautions. The MEMS resonator is inherently more shock- and vibration-tolerant than a quartz crystal — relevant for automotive and portable equipment.
