MEMS oscillator with automotive-grade qualification
The DSC1001BI2-016.3840: Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive applications where reliability under thermal and mechanical stress is mandatory.
Standby power-down and supply flexibility
A standby (power-down) function reduces current draw to 15 µA max when the enable pin is de-asserted, allowing the system to gate the clock tree without a separate load switch. The supply voltage range spans 1.8 V to 3.3 V, covering common digital core and I/O rails without an external level translator. Active current consumption is 6.3 mA max at the rated frequency, keeping the thermal budget low in dense PCB layouts.
Surface-mount footprint and board integration
The 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm no-lead package with a seated height of 0.90 mm fits standard oscillator footprints and reflow profiles for automated assembly. The MEMS resonator construction provides inherent shock and vibration tolerance compared to quartz crystal oscillators, reducing phase-noise degradation in high-vibration environments like automotive drivetrains.
