24 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001BI1-024.0000 is a 24 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across -40°C to +85°C. AEC-Q100 rated, this oscillator is qualified for automotive-grade applications — under-hood or cabin electronics where temperature cycling and vibration tolerance are required. The MEMS resonator eliminates the need for external load capacitors and provides faster start-up than quartz-based oscillators, simplifying the BOM and layout.
Standby power-down and supply flexibility
A standby (power-down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max when disabled — useful for battery-powered or sleep-mode systems where the clock tree must be gated without a separate enable switch. The supply voltage range spans 1.8V to 3.3V, covering common 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without a dedicated regulator. Active current draw is 6.3 mA max at full output load, keeping the thermal budget low in the 4-SMD no-lead package.
Supplied in tube, surface-mount on a 5.00mm x 3.20mm footprint with 0.90mm seated height. No stock-holding claim; sourced through independent distribution.
