AEC-Q100 MEMS oscillator for automotive timing
AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed the automotive-grade stress tests — temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up — required for under-hood and cabin electronics where a crystal might drift or fail under vibration. The 1.8V to 3.3V supply range lets a single BOM line serve 1.8V MCU domains and 3.3V CAN transceivers without a separate level translator or regulator.
Standby function and power budget
A standby (power down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max when disabled — useful for automotive modules that sleep on the CAN bus and wake on a message. Active current is 6.3 mA max, so the total power budget for the clock tree stays low even in a multi-oscillator design.
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a standard footprint that matches many 7x5 mm crystal oscillators, simplifying layout reuse. Surface-mount and supplied on Tape & Reel for automated pick-and-place; no special handling beyond standard SMD reflow profiles.
