144 MHz MEMS clock for automotive and industrial timing
The DSC1001AI5-144.0000 is an active-production MEMS-based XO from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a 144 MHz CMOS clock with ±10 ppm frequency stability across the full -40 to 85°C industrial range. Its AEC-Q100 qualification means this oscillator is rated for automotive environments — under-hood or cabin — where vibration and temperature cycling would stress a quartz crystal. The MEMS resonator is inherently more shock- and vibration-tolerant than a quartz blank, which matters for engine-bay ECUs and transmission controllers that see sustained 5 g vibration.
Supply range, power-down, and package fit
Supply voltage spans 1.8 V to 3.3 V, so the same part serves 1.8 V and 3.3 V clock domains without a level translator. Standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max — useful for battery-backed modules that must sleep between wake events. Housed in a 7.00 x 5.00 mm 4-SMD package with no lead exposed pad, it fits a standard oscillator footprint and reflows with a typical lead-free profile.
This part is available for new designs and production builds without a last-time-buy window.
