16.384 MHz MEMS oscillator for timing-critical designs
The MEMS resonator eliminates quartz crystal aging and shock sensitivity, making it a fit for networking gear, industrial controllers, and automotive ECUs that need consistent timing over years of service.
Supply range and standby power savings
Operating from 1.8V to 3.3V, this oscillator ties directly to a 1.8V FPGA bank or a 3.3V MCU I/O without a level translator — the CMOS output swings rail-to-rail across the full supply range. Active draw is 6.3 mA max at 16.384 MHz — the MEMS architecture keeps power low enough that a small LDO or a series resistor from a 3.3V rail can feed it without thermal concern.
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — the exposed pad under the package needs a thermal via to the ground plane for best heat transfer and mechanical stability.
The DSC1001 series includes multiple frequency and stability variants — the base product number DSC1001 is the family anchor for cross-referencing other frequencies in the same package and pinout.
