Why choose a MEMS oscillator over quartz for this timing node
If you have a board that keeps losing clock sync under mechanical stress, the scorch mark might not be on the oscillator itself, but the quartz resonator that cracked internally. This part sidesteps that failure mode entirely.
The DSC1001AI2-083.3330 accepts a supply voltage from 1.8V to 3.3V, so it can run directly off a 1.8V FPGA bank or a 3.3V microcontroller rail without a level translator.
The seated height of 0.90mm keeps it low-profile for tight enclosures.
