Microchip DSC1001AI2-066.6600T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) delivering a 66.66 MHz CMOS output — a drop-in replacement for quartz oscillators in designs that need the shock and temperature tolerance of a silicon resonator. Rated across -40°C to 85°C with ±25 ppm frequency stability, it holds the clock tight through an engine-bay thermal cycle or a factory-floor temperature swing.
Operates from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply rail — the same BOM line serves both a 1.8V-core SoC and a 3.3V peripheral bus without a separate regulator. Active current draw is 7.2 mA max at 66.66 MHz — the MEMS resonator consumes less than a comparable quartz oscillator at the same frequency, which matters for thermally constrained enclosures.
This is a current-design-in part, not a sunsetted line. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place; the 4-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package (7.00mm x 5.00mm footprint) is a standard oscillator land pattern — no board spin needed if you're migrating from a quartz can.
