60 MHz MEMS oscillator with automotive-grade qualification
The DSC1001AI2-060.0000T is a 60 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering CMOS output with ±25 ppm frequency stability. Its AEC-Q100 qualification means it has passed the automotive reliability stress tests — temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up — required for deployment in engine control units, transmission controllers, and advanced driver-assistance systems where a quartz crystal failure is not an option.
Supply voltage flexibility and standby power-down
The oscillator operates across a 1.8V to 3.3V supply range, so the same part number can be used on a 1.8V FPGA bank and a 3.3V microcontroller clock input without a separate voltage translator. When the clock is not needed, the Standby (Power Down) function drops the supply current to 15 µA max — useful for battery-backed modules that wake on a CAN message.
Active lifecycle — no end-of-life risk for new designs
