Why this MEMS oscillator avoids crystal cold-start issues
The DSC1001AI2-025.0007T: A quartz crystal oscillator can take milliseconds to start and may fail to oscillate at low temperatures if the drive level is marginal. It is suited for under-hood and chassis-domain electronics where a standard commercial oscillator would drift or fail.
Supply voltage flexibility and power-down current
The 1.8V to 3.3V supply range lets you use the same oscillator across a 1.8V FPGA bank and a 3.3V MCU without a level translator — the CMOS output swings rail-to-rail at either voltage.
The 4-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measures 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm.
