MEMS clock for automotive timing trees
The DSC1001AI2-011.2896T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator producing a 11.2896 MHz CMOS output — a frequency commonly used in CAN, LIN, and audio serial clocks for automotive body electronics.
Stability and supply tolerance
Maximum supply current is 6.3 mA during operation; the standby (power-down) function drops draw to 15 µA, letting the oscillator be gated off between bus transactions to save battery in key-off automotive loads.
Housed in a 7.00 mm × 5.00 mm 4-SMD no-lead exposed pad package, 0.90 mm seated height — the exposed pad needs a thermal via under the centre to the ground plane for the MEMS die's heat path, though the 6.3 mA draw generates negligible self-heating.
